Siegel, was recently elected to serve as the First Vice President of the USA Chapter of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. The IAFL is a worldwide association of practicing lawyers who are recognized by their peers as the most experienced and skilled family law specialists in their respective countries. Formed in 1986 to improve the practice of law and the administration of justice in the area of divorce and family law throughout the world, membership is by invitation only.
The primary objective of the Academy is to improve international family law practice throughout the world. It pursues that objective by creating a network of expertise in international family law around the world; providing its fellows with information about both international and national developments in the law; offering advice and assistance to the wider public; promoting law reform and, where possible,harmonization of law.
The USA Chapter is the largest of the 4 regional IAFL components with just over 400 Fellows from 41 states. As First Vice President, Attorney Siegel will become President of the Chapter in September 2026.
