Christine Chu

Associate Attorney

Attorney Christine Chu represents individuals in all areas of family law, including divorce, alimony, child support, property division, mediation, and post-judgment motions for modification and contempt. Recently, Attorney Chu was a second chair in a remote divorce trial at Connecticut's Regional Family Trial Docket, which lasted six-weeks.

Attorney Chu joined Siegel, Colin & Kaufman, P.C., as an Associate Attorney in 2020. Prior to joining Siegel, Colin & Kaufman, P.C., Attorney Chu was an Associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, LLP, an Am Law 100 firm in New York City. During that time, Attorney Chu's pro bono practice included litigating family law matters involving child support and child custody issues.

Attorney Chu attended both college and law school while working full-time at an NYC law firm. During her time in law school, Attorney Chu devoted a substantial amount of time preparing for and participating in numerous national mock trial competitions. During this time, Attorney Chu was coached by some of the finest trial attorneys in NYC, where she was able to hone her trial advocacy skills, which she uses today in the courtroom. She was elected to serve as the Executive Director, the top executive board position, of the law school's Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute and invited to join the Law Review. Attorney Chu also worked in the Queens County District Attorney's Office in a number of different positions, including as a law clinic intern where she prosecuted misdemeanor domestic violence cases under the supervision of an assistant district attorney. In addition to working full-time and actively participating in co-curricular programs, Attorney Chu received the Esterina Guiliani Award upon graduation, for achieving the highest cumulative grade point average in the evening division.

Attorney Chu resides in Greenwich with her husband and two French bulldogs.
